Fire In Manorhaven Friday

A condominium at the Tom’s Point complex in Manhasset Isle ignited Friday. Details are sketchy, but a source close to the fire department said a contractor with a blowtorch working on a boiler in the basement accidentally caused the fire by ignited the ceiling, which affected the apartment above.
