The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for the first-ever Multicultural Fest held by the Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District and the Village of Great Neck Plaza on Middle Neck Road between Grace Avenue and Maple Drive on Sunday, June 26, from noon to 10 p.m.
The free family-friendly event celebrated Great Neck’s diversity through outdoor dining, games, rides and live entertainment by the Asian-American Circle of Unity, Katya’s School of Dance, Nina Et Cetera and The Klezical Tradition.
Bounce houses, Akbar the Caricaturist, face painter Paulette Elkind and a Chinese name writer entertained kids and families dined al fresco at various participating eateries, including Chez Karma, Gino’s, Muzi, Burger Village and Häagen-Dazs.
