The Village of Great Neck Plaza and Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District (BID) will
hold the annual Halloween Celebration and Parade on Bond Street between North Station Plaza to Grace Avenue on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Children are invited to parade as ghosts, princesses, superheroes or other imaginative characters, and enjoy games, arts and crafts, bouncer rides, free Halloween gifts, pumpkin drawing and music.
“We are always looking for fun ways to bring the village together and promote businesses to the community,” said Maria Coscia, Great Neck Plaza BID promotions manager. “The annual Halloween Celebration and Parade has been a highlight of the fall season in the plaza for the past nine years. It is truly a day that everybody is able to enjoy.”
Each child in the parade will receive a gift bag filled with small presents, candy and special merchant coupon offers for parents.
“It’s always a thrill to see the children, families and residents of the Great Neck community enjoy this festive event and share their creativity,” said Ron Edelson, executive director of the Great Neck Plaza BID. “Halloween in Great Neck Plaza is something we look forward to every year because it brings excitement to our community.”
